Mechanically, they have 1/3 fewer parts, with no radiator cooling system or catalytic converters needed. Even better, the ZED engine is made from benign 100% recyclable materials, compared to the environmental damage caused by lithium and cobalt mining, processing, and transportation. ZED engines also cause zero end-of-life environmental damage, compared to the 56 million tons (and growing) of e-waste dumped every year.
